Welfare Activities

Community welfare activities are conducted by the Mahim Dargah Trust. They provide free meals to the poor and needy, organize medical camps, and distribute clothes to those in need. The trust also provides financial assistance to students for their education.

Langar and Poverty Relief Estd. 2007

Responsible for the activities of supplying food on a daily basis to the poor individuals and Niyaz to Zahereens. Besides, this the committee is likewise concerned with arranging and successfully executing poverty relief scheme that provides assistance to poor families in our society by presenting regular rations (such as rice, wheat flour, oil, pulses, sugar and tea) along with organizing Iftar and Saheri during the sacred month of Ramzan.

Langar – This trust entity furnishes everyday sustenance to lower-income people plus Niyaz for all Zahereens.

Poverty Relief – This reliable program supports financially disadvantaged meriting households by giving out periodic stock (e.g. Rice, Wheat Flour, Oil, Pulses, Sugar and Tea).

Iftar and Saheri Arrangement – Under this plan, the trust arranges Iftar celebrations and Saheri during the Sanctified Month of Ramzan Sharief.

To ensure effective execution of these policy announcements, a selected Langar Committee has been appointed which supervises the procedure.

The security, cleanliness and maintenance of Dargah Sherief is overseen by Adhoc-Committee. CCTV cameras have been installed in the premises and a security guard is present at all times to ensure the safety and security of its visitors. A team of workers is employed by the Dargah Trust, which is responsible for the cleaning, maintenance, and upkeep of the Dargah grounds. This team works in two shifts to ensure everything is kept clean and safe.
