AN ISO 9001:2015 Certification

The Pir Makhdum Saheb Charitable Trust/WAKF achieved a significant milestone on June 7th, 2007, by being honored with the ISO 9001:2015 certification. This recognition marks a historical achievement as it designates the trust as the first Dargah Trust not only in India but globally to attain the prestigious ISO 9001:2015 accreditation. The certification underscores the trust’s commitment to maintaining a high standard of quality in its operations.

The ISO 9001:2015 certification is a testament to the trust’s exemplary Quality Management System, covering a diverse range of activities. Among these, the trust is responsible for organizing events of cultural and religious significance, such as the Mahim Fair and 8th Shab, demonstrating its dedication to fostering spiritual and communal connections. Additionally, the certification acknowledges the trust’s role in facilitating the Ziyarat of Quran Sharief, providing charitable education, conducting Oriental Religious Research, managing Library Services, and overseeing various other social and religio-spiritual endeavors.

Flyover at J.J. Hospital Named "Hazrat Makhdum Fakih Ali Mahimi (R.A.) Flyover"

The Flyover at J.J. Hospital was officially named the “Hazrat Makhdum Fakih Ali Mahimi (R.A.) Flyover” thanks to the indefatigable efforts of PMSCT’s trustees. On the day of the naming ceremony for Hazrat Makhdum Fakih Ali Mahimi (R.A.) Flyover on December 26, 2005, these eminent personalities were present:

  • Late Mr. Vilasrao Deshmukh (then CM of Maharashtra)
  • Mr. Muhammad Suhail Khandwani (Managing Trustee) 
  • Mr. Anil Deshmukh (Ex-Minister) 
  • Mr. Suresh Shetty (Ex-Minister ) 

The Mahim Dargah serves as an example of how religious organizations can contribute to social progress and improvement of local communities. The trust continues to work towards its mission of providing assistance to the needy and preserving the legacy of Makhdum Fakih Ali Mahimi.
